The WA-44 is a replica of the legendary RCA 44 ribbon microphone and, according to the manufacturer, is suitable for vocals, wind instruments, drums or acoustic instruments. As can be seen from the announcement of the WA-44, the development of the microphone has been on the manufacturer’s to-do list for many years. Until now, however, it has not been possible to obtain the right components for an adequate replica. This has obviously now changed.
